Hi, my name is Eva and I am here to inspire other mums to feel better in their bodies, reduce their stress levels and increase their energy.

As soon as I realised I was pregnant, I started planning for a perfect birth. I had a very healthy pregnancy and was considered low risk. However, my perfect birth turned into a nightmare emergency c-section.

Eva TorresAlong with all the happiness at the birth of my baby girl, I also felt a huge mix of feelings: failure, grief, anger, sadness, guilt… What has happened to me? I did everything right, why me? What could I have done differently? Was it my fault? All sort of thoughts came to my mind.

I was sleep deprived and very sensitive like any new mum, but I also felt a stranger in my own body. I felt my body had failed me and I was disconnected and out of balance. Is this my body now? Why does it feel so different?

I had my knowledge and experience of years in body and energy work and a profound belief that I deserved to heal. I got new qualifications in Postnatal exercise and did a lot of research on c-section healing. I combined all of this in order to regain my balance. And by doing this I realized how little information and support women that have gone through a c-section have.

There are so many misconceptions about c-sections. Many people think they are the easy way out and they are not big deal. In many cultures, there are traditions of care and support for new mums. However, in our culture, they just expect women to go back to normal in the space of days. This is extremely difficult specially for women that had a c-section: they need much more time, help and support.

I know that pregnancy and birth change us. They change our bodies, our hearts and our lives. C-sections leave different marks than another kind of births, but I believe you can regain your body and you can find balance.

I help my clients to reconnect with their bodies,

reduce pain,

rebalance their life force,

heal and replenish their energy,

release negativity and empower themselves.

Rather than focusing on losing weight, fat and belly, I believe in gaining strength, balance and movement. You have a beautiful life ahead with your baby or babies and it is important that you are able to lift and move around with them now and as they grow older, jump in muddy puddles, go down slides with them, chase them in the park… Taking care of yourself is not selfish or a luxury, it is essential so you can take care of your kids.

I believe in a gentle approach. I believe in giving you time and space to heal. I believe in education and in your right to take decisions. I believe in the power of loving yourself and the strength that comes by being supported and surrounded by the right people.

My Professional Bio

MassageI graduated with a BA in Journalism in my native Spain. After working for a few years for different internet companies, I discovered that my real vocation lay in the realms of personal development issues.

I started by learning Reiki and completing a number of courses on energy healing techniques. I became a Reiki Master just before moving to London in 2006.

I found I loved being a bodyworker and took several massage courses both in Spain and in UK (VTCT and ITEC). I am also a certified Rossiter System coach.

Also in London, I trained to became a Pilates instructor (CYQ) and continued my education by becoming a Prenatal and Postnatal specialist (Body Control and Burrell Education).

After working at different locations in London I was practising from a clinic in the City (Health in the City) where I saw people from all walks of life, from students to high executives.

After the birth of my daughter in 2013, I took a career break that helped me to make the decision to start a new venture and create Inhale Mama to help mums like me.

I am fully qualified and insured and I am also a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

A Few Things About Me

I am originally from Spain. I came to the UK in 2006 and I live in London with my partner, David, and my little daughter, Abril.

I love salsa and have been dancing for ages. In fact, I met David at a salsa event in Hyde Park.

I don’t eat meat, but I still eat some fish. I hate the word “pescatarian” though.

Purple is my favourite colour.

I am a city girl who loves the outdoors. I hope one day when my daughter grows up, we will be able to enjoy hiking together in the countryside.
